What to Expect

White puppy

In your search for a veterinary facility we believe you should expect high quality care, as well as great service. Our goal has always been to bring together a care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.

Your pet's annual check-up includes a total physical exam. We will ask you about your pet's diet and any medications they are on. We will also review the use of preventative medications including heartworm, and flea and tick products. Vaccinations may be updated as needed and laboratory tests will be offered when appropriate. This is the time to discuss any concerns that you may have about your pet's well being and we will do our best to answer.

We are capable of providing the vast majority of veterinary tests and procedures in our hospital including blood/urine/fecal tests, x-ray, ultrasound, orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. However, if your pet requires additional treatment by a specialist, we will advise you about the proper resources.

  • "I started to use Tolland Vet when I lived in Vernon. And continue to use them after moving west of the CT River (19 years and counting). Quality care without "over doing the procedures" that I hear about with other vet practices. I have referred multiple friends who echo my sentiments. I just had a handicapped Golden Retriever live to be over 15 years old--because of the care received from Tolland Vet. Thank you!"
